Hello out there,
can you guys help me by answering the following question:
What is the difference of the Guest Operating System Support RHEL 5 and RHEL (32/64)??
See this in the table of the following link:
http://www.vmware.com/technical-resources/advantages/guest-os.html
Furthermore there are analogies like Windows XP and Windows XP (32/64) ??
This is a paradoxum to me. 😃
Can anybody help me out with this, please?
btw: I want to run a RHEL 5 x86 (32 bit) as Guest Operating System on vSphere 5 and need to get supported in case of desaster.
Thanks alot & have a nice day!

That's indeed a very unclear table.
It is not the actual compatibility list, but a comparison with other hypervisors.
For the actual Guest OS Compatibilty list, check here:
http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?deviceCategory=software&testConfig=16
