Wrapper for HP-UX IA 64

Hi All,

There is still no proper wrapper for HP-UX IA 64.

All the HQ 4.x versions still encounters the same problem when I tried starting the agent.



root@bsi01[/opt/hyperic-hq-agent-4.1.0/bin]# ./hq-agent.sh start
Unable to locate any of the following binaries:
/opt/hyperic-hq-agent-4.1.0/wrapper/sbin/../../wrapper/sbin/wrapper-hpux-ia-32
/opt/hyperic-hq-agent-4.1.0/wrapper/sbin/../../wrapper/sbin/wrapper-hpux-ia-64
/opt/hyperic-hq-agent-4.1.0/wrapper/sbin/../../wrapper/sbin/wrapper

You can download the appropriate bundle for HP-UX IA 64 here:

http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.org/doc/english/download.jsp

Put the missing binaries in the directory and hopefully that'll work
for you. You can always run the agent with the nowrapper script.

Ok, so I just saw your post regarding nowrapper not working right. Itanium isn't officially supported, nor do we QA on that platform. When you complete the setup with nowrapper, does it actually work and the only issue is that it doesn't go into the background?
