When will i get VCP certificate...eager to see...

Hi Guys

       Cleared VCP exam yesterday... became VCP now

Was eager to get some mails from VMware related to my completion of certification and any steps to be carried further.

But to my surprise dint get any mails....

Can any one say, when will I get such notifications and MY CERTIFICATE....

Should i do something or register in VMware site reg this...

Note: I have taken both my exam and training.

Answer for my query tat i got from VMware site is

1) It will take 10 days to get notified by email reg our certification completion.

2)  will take 4 to 6 weeks to get the hardcopy of certification.

I passed the exam on the 25th of november. And it takes a long time for the transcript to be updated.

I passed on Oct 25, still waiting.

Going to raise a case.  I must be unlucky, because my VCP 4 didn't come for ages either.

If you have passed the exam (and this appear "passed" in VUE portal) you are fine

After 2 month at least you can ping certifications@vmware.com

I assume you've already had an email from VMware asking you to login and confirm your shipping address and accept the VCP agreement? If not, I would definitely contact certification@vmware.com, but if you have and you've completed those tasks then you should get your VCP pack in the mail/post about 4-6 weeks later.

I already emailed VMware on monday. I got a repsonse that i should wait 10 business days.  Or that i should contact them by phone. Tomorrow it is 10 business days. On the VUE site i have the status pass for the exam.

If it's not updated tomorrow i will mail vmware again. If i don't get a proper response then, i will contact vue to get a refund of my exam.

I'm sure you'll get the VCP email from them soon, but by all means chase them up if you wish. I assume you meet the pre-requisite training requirement for the VCP? VMware will only issue you the email once they've validated that.

Being honest, I can't see why PearsonVUE would issue you with a refund for the cost of the exam - they've fulfilled their contract with you.

I am already a VCP2, 3 and 4. So i don't have to follow the What's new course.

I will email vmware tomorrow and see what happens. I see in a lot  of threads more people have problems.

Hi,

My transcript in mylearn.vmware site shows that I have completed my certification.

We just need to follow the steps that is sent by VMware.

I got exactly in my 10th business day from Exam....

Will wait for my hardcopy of certificate.... hope tat too comes soon
