Failed to connect to the vShield Manager

Hello,

I just deployed a test "vCloud Director 1.5 Appliance" and during the "Attach New vCenter" wizard in the vCloud Director 1.5 portal, I was able to attached my vCenter credentials just fine but when it asked for "vShield Manager Connection" I've entered both FQDN or IP address of the vShield Manager appliance with appropriate user/pass but still didn't work but gave an error "Failed to connect to the vShield Manager".

I have double check my DNS entries both vSM01 and vCD01 servers are lookup forward/reverse just fine.  All my IP scheme using basic 192.168.1.xx without any firewall or VLANs in between, so anyone has any problems with this please advice.

Thanks in advance!

Works just fine here. But I would definitely recommend tripple checking DNS as it is the thing that most often cause these types of problems.

Duncan,

thanks for your feedback, was managed to resolve it last night doing long troubleshooting, my issue was duplicate DNS entries, i have same IP address for the vShield Manager server and one of iSCSI box.  Once this resolves, I was able to finish vCloud 1.5 setup tasks, and also finished completely with all vApp, Endpoints installation otherwise keep throwing errors here/there ...
