You set the RDP screen resolution in the mstc.exe (RDP) client.

Which resolution do you use in the console of that guest?

Hi,

Thanks for your quick responce. but i wanna give you some clarification on that.

The original VM in VC itself showing the same resolution and it cannot be adjustable. it is not the issue with mstsc.exe. our default resolution settings are 800x600. And for all the users it should be connected with 800x600 usually. but now it is connecting with 1024x768 resolution for all the users.

that is the reason we are getting incidents form the users saying "we cannot work with 1024x768 resolution".

I hope my message make sense.

thanks inadvance

regards,

Suresh

I might be wrong in catching your issue, but you can set the screen resolution of your RDP (must be RDP 6.0 or later, should apply to W2K3 SP1 and XP SP2 or later) session independently from the host resolution (the resolution of the guest console screen, in this case).
