Like the VCA mock exam the VCP4-DT seemed insanely easy.  I'll be taking the VCA tomorrow morning to see if this is true or not.  I would have to think the VCP4-DT has to be rather difficult, can you compare the level of difficulty of the exam vs the mock test?  I'd hate to walk into either being over-confident and throw the registration fees out the window.

Mock is build on 10 questions... in the exam you can find 10 question at the same difficult level.

The other has a 2x or 3x or 4x difficult level Smiley Happy

The difficult for some question is that (IMHO) the better answer does not exist... you must find the correct answers.

But if you use your brain you can work to find the wrong answer... Seems silly but can help a lot in multiple choice (because the number of correct answer is always displayed).

Thanks for sharing.  I just passed the VCA4-DT and will be taking the VCP4-DT shortly.  I took the mock exam for VCP4-DT and it seemed much easier from a conceptual point of view, rather than adminitrative.  I have a peer on my team that just passed and he scored  490 so I think for those who are aspiring View Architects, this should be relatively easy!

Regards.

Congratulations! Im just curious if it was your company who shouldered the expenses or was it from your own pocket?http://imagicon.info/cat/5-59/1.gif

I work at VMware. Smiley Happy

Taking my VCP5 this Sunday!

The VCP4-DT is going to be much easier for those that have real world view design and architecture experience.  Also, make sure to understand at the very least, the basics of ThinApp.

I passed with a higher score than I did on my VCA4-DT.

If you know View, is not too difficult.

Its such an advantage if you have hands on experience and theories to support it. I wish my company is like this. Sigh* http://imagicon.info/cat/5-59/1.gif

I took the VCP4-DT a week after taking the VCA4-DT and whoa, the VCA was DEFINITELY more challenging.  I come from a background in architecture and troubleshooting View and I think that helped quiet a bit with the VCP level DT exam as it felt more catered to that.  I definitely wouldn't discredit the VCA4-DT exam by any means and would rate that definitely harder than the VCP level.

I like the sounds of this.  I was shocked how difficult the VCA4-DT ended up being for an "entry level" certification so I wasn't sure what to think about the VCP4-DT but I'm going to give it a whirl.  So much of the VCA questions were triva questions where my photographic memory was failing me, I look forward to the VCP-DT hopefully being more concept/architecturally driven.

I scored higher on the VCAP-DCD than the VCA-DT, if that says anything.
