How to Deleting a Pool if the Poolname is gray?

Hi,

how to clean in Viewmanager a Pool that was deleted but the process is not finished. Rebooting the Virtual-Center (composer service) did not help.

Thanks for your help!

Are there any desktops that are hung in a deleting state?  I have seen pools refuse to delete if there are desktops that haven't been cleaned up.    Might be worthwhile to read over the KB article about removing stale desktops.

Hi

Any one in this Virtual World have a solution for this problem ? I'm also facing the same issue.

I did follow the KB article mentioned above but this could delete only the VM's in the VC and VM administrator console.

But the pool still shows as deleting. Attached is the screenshot for reference.

Pls help me with a solution.

Cheers

Hi,

Check if there are entries for this pool under OU=Desktops, OU=Applications and OU=Server Groups in the ADAM database.

Removing them should solve your problem.

Thanks Noble. It gave me a hint on where to check to clear it off.
