ESXi 4.1 and hp MSA2312sa

Anyone using this storage device with standalone HP servers SAS-attached?  I have two DL380 G6s SAS-connected to a MSA2312sa with dual HBAs and dual controllers in the MSA and VMware reports it as partial/non-redundant.  I contacted support and they believe it is a cosmetic issue with vCenter.  I would be really surprised if anyone running this configuration has never seen this before.  I also tried to get setup assistance from HP and they could not find any documentation on a recommended cabling configuration particularly for vSphere.

I've used the Dell similar solution (also based on LSI) and it works with no issues.
