time synchronization for snapshots??

Hi ,

  This is Naveen. We are using Esxi 4.0. I am having an issue with the snapshot. Once i am reverting to the sanpshot the time synchronization is not happening. The time went to the old snapshot's time. Can any one help me to resolve this issue....

Hi Naveen,

I don't think this is an issue, I think that behavior is by design. The snapshot is a capture of the system's state at a point in time. If you revert to a snapshot the system is going to go back to that exact state. I would think that would include the exact time that the snapshot was performed. Does the time not resync to the correct time via NTP after you revert it?
