increase/decrease sound problem(win 7)

Hi buddies!
I've tested a lot of thin clients from HP an tested P20 from Wyse, and I'm having a good progress with that.
Have already solved some few problems, but only when users begin to test their virtual desktops, we'll know the real issues that we'll need to solve.
The problem :
I connect to my virtual desktop(running windows 7 pro) through the view client 4.6 , but when I'm logged in I can't increase/decrease volume control(sound), but I can turn it mute or umute it.I can hear the sound, I can up and down the sound bar but it's doesn't affect the sound volume.
This problem only occur in HP thinpro clients(which is linux),in windows thin clients and Wyse P20 this problem doesn't happen.
I've already google it and seached in this forum, but the problems are different from this.Have already upgraded the sound driver from teradici but it didn't works.
If somebody could help, I'll be grateful

Thank's!!!

Have you updated the ThinPro with the latest updates from HP? There should be a 4.6 client update to download.

The volume control problem started with the 4.6 update on our HP t5745 (a Linux-based thin client).  Audio volume control moves to new buttons. On XP VMs, the mixer slider for wave works.  On win7, using the mixer button for browser works (when using flash from a browser). On 7, selecting the speakers breaks flash audio and video until audiodg is manually terminated in the process list.

We initially tested 4.6 due to an unrelated issue breaking multiple logins per pool.  This problem is corrected by T6X32112.  We have discussed the audio issue with HP reps, but I'm uncertain if HP has taken action.

Thank'sfor the answer folk's!

That's what makes me worry. They are all upgraded to the latest firmware from HP which is T6X32112 Rev.1 , 25 Apr 2011.

Really don't know what to do in this case...Tomorrow I'll try to reinstall manualy the sound modules on thin pro and test.

Any other suggestion will be welcome.Thank's.

I was proceeding to install the sound modules manualy, then I unistalled a bunch of packages(which I'll show the details tomorrow, I'm out of work now) first, and then the surprise : I connect to my desktop through the view client and the sound control works!

The problem is that the mic stops to work lol...

But I'm sure to be on the right way to solve it...Tommorow I'll filter the packages and then uninstall only that one which is  preventing the sound control work.

Any other suggestions will be welcome.

Thank's

Sorry for response delay...I was really busy.

I found the respective package that I was talking about : pulseaudio-esound-compat
If I unistall or update(need to add a repository to /etc/apt/sources.list, used squeeze) this pkg then the sound increase/decrease works fine.

Thank's for everybody's help.I'll open a new discussion with other problems.
