Guys,
All my previous experience with VMware has been with ESX however considering VMware will be ditching ESX in favour of ESXi in the next major release of vSphere I've been trying to get better acquainted with ESXi.
I found an interesting article on the topic
http://blogs.vmware.com/vmtn/2011/06/guest-post-how-prepared-am-i-for-esxi.html
I was disappointed to hear that esxtop will be going away however the article mentions that resxtop should be used in its place.
Is it similar to esxtop?
Does anyone have any good documentation on it?
Thanks.

Hi
RESXTOP is just remote ESXTOP. It is the exact same feature. As Andre has linked to, you just use vMA to connect to the host and see the stats.

As of ESXi 4.1u1 you can still SSH into the host and use esxtop.
