Vsphere client could not to connect to vcenter server..?

Vsphere client could not to connect to vcenter server "xx.xx.com"

Details : The server took too long to respond(The operation has timed out)

how to resolve this, can anybody have a look on this please...;-)

Hello.

Can you provide more detail?  Are there firewalls involved?  Is DNS working properly?  What version of the software are you working with?

A good place to start would be the vpxd logs.  Record the exact time of the failure and see if you can pinpoint anything in the log at that time.

No firewalls are involved, DNS is working properly and resolution is intact with the hostname & IP in nslookup.The softwares are Vshpere 4.0, ESX 3.5 and Vsphere client.

just to make sure, have you looked on the vCenter Host if the vCenter Server Service of Windows is running?
