Softphone (Cisco IP Communicator)

ThinApp community:

As anyone out there been able to ThinApp Cisco's IP Communiator(aka softphone) and get it to work in their VDI environment?

I would be very interested in knowing this too.  I have tried to thinapp the software but drivers are present in the package that cannot be thinapped.

I think it might be hard due to the TAPI. Could you have TAPI external from the package, installed on the base platform it might work to ThinApp it. Running softphones on VDI is a completely different topic and questions and limitation of this should be discussed on the View community instead. There will you find all the View experts.

That sounds like a good idea by placing the TAPI(the driver base) portion on the golden image itself. However, I need to configure sound on my golden image. Is there a TID to configure sound on VMs?
