Hi,
what kind of experience did you make from View 4.5 to View 4.6?
Which is the easyest way for a upgrade? What peace should I upgrade first?
Thanks for your help!

do you deploy view composer?
just found this guide. http://www.vmware.com/pdf/view-46-upgrades.pdf good luck!
My upgrade experience was very positive. It was quick, easy, and everything worked out of the gate. It's hard to give recommendations without knowing which features you are using in the enviroment but we can give a high level overview. I would also recommend reading the upgrade guide as it has all the information you need.
1: Make sure you have valid backups of all the pieces involved.
2: Stop the connection broker service on the connection broker and replicas.
3: Upgrade the exisiting connection brokers one at a time.
4: upgrade the security server
5: upgrade View composer
6: Upgrade the agents on your clones and desktops, redeploy the pools with the updated agent.
Hi,
thanks to all! I did not an upgrade, I installed everthing new in virtual environment (View Manger Server, Secureserver). With RDP is everthing working fine as before with View4.5. I can use PoIP in the local net, but from outside PoIP is not working because I am not able to kick all the Ports 4172 on my Zyxel usg200
open.
Networking becomes more important with PoIP......
Thanks!

Great document on setting up remote access with PCOIP can be found here, http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-14974. Just in case you ever need it.
