How to Create VM from Multiple TAR Files and YML File

Hi:

I have an image of a vm from Rackspace's Cloud Servers backed up/imaged to their Cloud Files system.  The image consists of two TAR files and a YML file.  Can I create a VM on ESXi 3.5 from these files?

Hi Bob,

Rackspace solution seems to be based on XEN servers. So you should be able to extract VM's files from the tar archive and use VMware Converter to import it to your ESXi.
