After restarting view connection server I can't connect to View conn manager (https://server/admin)?! I get the message: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. I can connect to server with rdp.
I try to reinstall view connection server program, remove antivirus, turn off firewall, no success.
Please help
Is your View connection broker service started?
I can not see this service. I see Vmware view connection server service, but there is no broker servise.
That is the server I was referring to.
I just see that I can open http://server/admin but https still don't works. Thin client don't work over http (port 80).
Is there any place I can change it on view server, some config file...?
How can I backup pools and other configuration if I decide to bring up another view server?
Thanks
1. You can enable secure connection from View Manager configuration.
2. If you just need backup ten you can perform ADAM backup from View Administrator Page - Server - View Server
If you want ot bring another view server there is another easy way. Make the second server ready, istalll View Connection server build in the machine, during installation select the "Replica" server instance (point to the former connection server)
After installation entire configuration will be replicated to the replica server also. Pools can be launched through this server also. Now through View Manager take the former one disabled and remove the configration. Now you can safely remove the first one.
I couldn't enable secure conn from View Manager. Where I can find it?
Also, the folder location for the backup is some folder which is not on the disk and I can not change that location?! How can I configure the automatically backup on some other folder?
Anyway, I did a backup with vdmexport.exe tool, completely reinstall view server and with vdmimport.exe tool get the data back, and now is ok.
But I am worry about that why it was happened. I didn't do enything on view server before that.
Thanks
Thanks on help Patricio.
View server is on 2008R2 and we don't have to much desktop so I don't think it is the reason.
