I just got our VDI 4.6 POC up and running for internal and external use. I am trying to determine if I need to apply/install a SSL certificate to either just my VDI security server and/or my internal connection server AND security server? Other than being a trusted-site with encryption, is there any other pressing need to place a SSL cert on the VDI server(s)?
If so, what type of SSL cert should I install, and does the View Admin GUI facilitate the SSL install? I always think of SSL certs as browser based only, so I am a little perplexed when my VDI user will use a fat View client only to access the servers with the cert installed.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated...
