VMware View 4.6 Broker and PCoIP conenction issues

Hello all,

I'm having a bit of a funny issue. I've moved from 4.5 to 4.6 view and have two brand new brokers (Broker1 and Broker2) and everything has been working perfectly for over 2 months now. Over the last few days Broker1 has been giving me some grief with PCoIP. Users are able to connect to their view desktops using RDP but with PCoIP they keep getting kicked out or not even allowed to conenct through Broker1. I have had the users try the same connection using Broker2 and they are able to connect to their view desktops using PCoIP without a problem. This is all happening internally on our LAN.

Have any of you seen this happen, need some help resolving this issue.

thanks in advance

It sounds like a firewall issue to me. Do you get a black screen for 30 seconds or more? Do you get an error message?

Is there a security server involved in this?

Are you using PCoIP secure Gateway functionality on your servers?

Also check if the connection server is running low on memory/cpu?

It would be good if you post logs from connection server having problems.

both brokers are for internal communications so the connections don't even hit the firewall and the issue seems to be intermittent. I'm checking RAM and also trying to recreate the issue. btw where are the logs stored?

Ok guys here is what I have noticed, I'm trying to grab the logs because this is happening as we speak.

1. Will connect to my connection broker, I log in and then select my desktop, pick PCoIP and connect

2. Starts to log in and then immidiately says "The Connection to the remote computer ended"

3. I try connecting again and this time before even authenticating I receive an error about being unable to connect to the broker

4. I am even unable to get on the broker through http or https

5. after about 10 mins I am able to do it again i.e. connect to the management page via http https and also authenticate to the broker with the client if i try pcoip its like steps 1-4 are repeated
