Hello all
how can I install the SDK on the vCenter 4.1 so that the link https://<vCenterServername>/SDK works?

It should just work out of the box, no real configuration neccessary, just make sure the vCenter services are started.
Reason why I say this, is that VMware Lab Manager communicates commands via the vCenter SDK and I don't have to configure anything other than a user account for access to vCenter.
Are you hitting a specific problem or error? It may also be good to post in the API/SDK section of the forums.

When I try to access https://<vCenterServername>/SDK I get the error HTTP 404 "The webpage cannot be found"
I get a blank page on my working setup (4.1u1 on Windows 2008 R2) ... and if I stop the vCenter Server Service, this is the error Chrome gives me:
I can only find one KB similar to this:
http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1016116
If you can, please attach the vCenter log files.
We havent upgraded to U1 yet. I read somewhere, that you have to download the SDK Kit and copy the SDK folder to a location in the tomcat folder on the VC, but cant find which folder.
The download for SDK from our site is as follows:
vSphere 4.1 Web Services SDK
Documentation, WSDL, Java/C# stubs and sample code for developers using the vSphere API 4.1.
The actual website doesn't actually do anything, so even if you get a 404 ... that doesn't mean it's broken.
the SDK is a connector service that requires a binding/handshake, so it just listens on tcp port 443 ... maybe you could test a sample code and see how that runs.
Did you ever get a fix to this? I have the same issue with the Equallogic HIT/VE integration. and it can't connect to /SDK?
