Cloning W2K8

Hi,

I don't have answers to your question but could you tell me how to clone a guestOS? I also using w2k8 server. Thx.

Which VMware product are you using and if it is ESX(i) then are you also using vCenter?

you could use a vcenter or alternatively you can use a vmware converter to do a virtual 2 virtual clone.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm still new in this forums. I'm using VMware ESXi 4.1 with vSphere client 4.1. I don't have or using vCenter. So actually I want to move/clone a guestOS from current datastore to other datastore, still in the same server but different physical disk. Cos I ran out of space.

since u are nt having vcenter,..u have to manually copy of the files (vm folder)  to the new destination.
