Hi,
I don't have answers to your question but could you tell me how to clone a guestOS? I also using w2k8 server. Thx.
Welcome to the VMware Communities forums. I've branched your post to a new discussion. To get the best response to your questions it's best to start a new discussion if you have a question unrelated to the original topic.
Which VMware product are you using and if it is ESX(i) then are you also using vCenter?
you could use a vcenter or alternatively you can use a vmware converter to do a virtual 2 virtual clone.
Oh, I'm sorry. I'm still new in this forums. I'm using VMware ESXi 4.1 with vSphere client 4.1. I don't have or using vCenter. So actually I want to move/clone a guestOS from current datastore to other datastore, still in the same server but different physical disk. Cos I ran out of space.
since u are nt having vcenter,..u have to manually copy of the files (vm folder) to the new destination.
Oh ic. Thank's cooldude09.
ur welcome .....dont forget to mark points if you found it helpful
How to do that? I can't find the sign.
this is a branched out discussion.so it wil be available only on parent thread......never mind.
