Error on clone - Cannot deploy template: cannot complete customization

I have a 2008 R2 template that I've used to deploy quite a few VM's.  Today I came to use it and at 99% I got the error in the subject, and the new VM is removed from the inventory.

Just trying a few obvious things like rebooting the vcenter and so on but does this ring any bells before I log with support?

The obvious thing that's changed is that last week I upgraded vcenter from 4.1 to 4.1 U1, but it appeared to go smoothly with no errors.

The vcenter server is running 2008 R2 with all updates except SP1.

what if it's to deploy without customization module? with this we would know if the problem source is from the vcenter or the sysprep package.

try cloning any other vm and see if the error is specific to one vm or all vm's

Rebooted vcenter, worked just fine, go figure...

I guess we will just include reboot as a standard troubleshooting for vcrnter in future. Anyway good to hear that it has being fixed.
