Migrating the active state of VM

My apologies if this is in the wrong sub-community.

We have a "relocate virtual machine" job running and has been stuck at the 60% mark for over 12 hours. The details are "migrating the active state of virtual machine" The cancel option is grayed out. Any suggestions on how to cancel it?

restart you vCenter Server Service.  The stuck task is a vMotion.

I had the same issue. I logged in to the ESXi host directly, than I see two instance of that VM. Tried to open a console for both VM, one of them failed, then the migrate task completed successfully.
