Unable to connect to the MKS: error writing to vmware-authd socket error : 10013

Hi,

I am using vCloud Director 1.0.1 and have a test XP VM deployed in one of the cells. I am trying to open the remote console of this XP VM (remote console version: 3.0.0 build 279773) which we get with vCloud.

Everytime I get this message of authd 10013. vCloud is installed on RedHat5, I am trying to launch vCloud console from my Windows 7 laptop. I have tried the same with a different box, where I have the same issue.

I dont have any issues when I launch the remote console via VI Client. I have installed the certificate when prompted and tried with vmkauthd and xinetd services, but no go.

Any help is appreciated.

This helped a lot, although didnt gave me a fix.
