How to remove a datastore forcefully

Last week we have done a data migration from old filer to new filer. After mirrored all VMs to the new filer, we made all VMs online from the new filer. Now the thing is I can't remove the existing datastore (Old Filer). When i tried to remove the datastore from VC, it throws an error:

Is there any command/trick to remove the datastore forcefully ?

Thanks,

Ganesh

I found this (esxcfg-nas --del nfsname) command from the given URL. But, No Luck. When i issued that command, it showed that the volume has been deleted. But its still there in the datastore list.

When i tried to remove the volume through VI-Client, it throws the same error.

I executed two commands to delete the datastore completely.

Can't reveal my server name and datastore name Smiley Sad Sorry about that. I meant to say after running the management restart command only, the datastore has removed from the VC. Makes sense ???
