Can't Power-On VM

When i am trying to power-on my virtual machine, it throws an error "Theobject or item referred to could not be found".

Anyone came across to this kinda problem. Please give solution to fix it up.

Versions:

ESX Server - 3.5 build 238493.

VC Server - 2.5 build 119598

VI Client - 2.5 build 119598

The problem was with my datastores. When i rescan my HBAs, all datastores were winded up. So i restarted the ESX and HA pushed my all VMs to another host. Now the things are fine.

hmm any particular reason the datastore go missing? curious.

I uploaded my logs to VMware support for root cause analysis. Will let you know.

Any Update from VMware Support ?

VMware support said that there was a problem with storage array like LUNs were offline. But when i contacted storage guys, they said everything looks good from storage end. So the reason is still looks like a greyed area.

Maximum of my troubleshooting ended up like this kinda confusion (If it is related to storage stuffs).

normally i would like up two parties and have them resolve together.

But it always to be a big challenge to include them on the call with VMware support. Always they use to say we didn't do anything then why you want me to join on the call. I am fed up with them.
