Problems with IPV6 in Ubuntu 10.10 guest

    adrianm Novice

I have a number of VMs running under fusion using Centos and Solaris that are happily working with my IPV6 router and are all getting both a link local and a global IPV6 address over a bridged network.

I have another Ubuntu 10.10 guest that refuses to get an IPV6 global address.  VMware tools are installed and configured and I can see that vmxnet is loaded but ifconfig shows only a DHCP assigned IPV4 and a Link Local address.

Any thoughts on why I am seeing this behaviour?

      Thanks,
