Hi
What I would like to build:
Me -> Hosting company, one vCenter, many ESX hosts (8 per VDI cluster), one Active Directory
Several customers that "buy" VDI desktops from me. VDI desktops get deployed in each customers Active Directory. I want as little connections to customers AD as possible.
When using composer, it has to be part of an AD and run on the vCenter server. In each customer AD there will be connection & security servers that can connect to the composer / vcenter server. Is this a correct design?
Is it possible to do this without any trust relationships between the AD's?
Regards
Gabrie
Hi Gabrie.
That should work fine, the vCenter or View Composer does not have to be a member of the AD but it will need to be able to resolve it properly.
You will need at least one View Broker for each customer domain.
Have a look at the attached file, the screenshots is from View3 but should still apply for 4.5
