FAILED: An error occurred during the conversion.

I am trying to convert a server running windows server 2003 and it failed during the conversion process can anyone point me in the right direction?

The converter is installed on a win 7 machine if thats important.

From a quick view into the log file it looks like a permission issue on either the source host or the target share (looks like you are converting to a file share)

userName = "bjjames",

source = "137.197.50.152",

target = "\\codimg\E\codpw2.codad\codpw2.codad.vmx",

Start the conversion again, by running the Converter as the "Administrator" (right click -> "Run as..."), provide the local administrator credentials for the source (your Windows 2003 Enterprise server) and make sure the target share is accessible (Share as well as NTFS permissions set correctly)

I am not sure if that is the issue as a saw it create the files that it needed. I have kicked off the procedure again with the same credentials to a slightly different share and am almost complete.

Anyway if this doesn't work i have a ghost backup that i will try to use.

A few side notes from before that might have been important is it got 12% into the conversion before it failed.

and my credentials have admin rights.

Something that caught my eye in the conversion process was
