I can't seem to start the vCenter service. I have attempted an upgrade to 4.1, but after having issues I have had to roll back. The database has been restored. Now for some reason I can't even start vCenter. I am getting the following errors in the logs. I do not get any errors when I install version 4.0.
Does anyone know what this means? "Failed to initialize: File Format Exception: Duplicate child: extraConfig"

Edit: I have looked in the database and there is only one entry under VPX_TYPE_MAP for extraConfig.
