stop: 0x0000007B conversion error

I just finished converting about 10 machines but my last one is giving me a problem.  The machines I converted were all from running Xenserver VMs.  When I attempt to start up the troubled VM in VMware I get the Windows splash screen then the bsod with stop: 0x0000007B (oxf789ea94, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).  I assume this is because there is some sort of hard drive controller driver issue.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

I would on the machine you are trying to convert I would suggest trying the following:

  1. In the VMWare Converter job task, rather than choosing the "Preserve Source" or the "IDE" --  choose the "SCSI LSI Logic" .

If this does not help then you could also try uninstalling any sound or gfx drivers before the migration.

I hope this helps you and if it does then please apply some points.

If you found this helpful then please leave some points.

I right clicked the VM, chose reconfigure machine.  Let it run through it's process and now it works.
