Does anyone know the exact necessary permissions for VDR to run backup and restore? I can't find any documentation on this.
Currently with the test and retry technique i have managed to run VDR with the following permissions:
Datastore:
-> Allocate space
-> Browse datastore
-> Low level file operations
Global:
-> Licenses
-> System Tag
Host -> Local Operations:
-> Create Virtual Machine
-> Reconfigure Virtual Machine
Network:
-> Assign Network
Resource:
-> Assign virtual machine to resource pool
Virtual Machine:
Configuration -> All ?:|
Inventory -> Create from existing, Create new, Register
Provisioning -> All ?:|
State -> Create snapshot, Remove snapshot
