Set default disk type to "single file" and Networking to bridged.

I often find myself doing extra work simply because I blow by things like setting bridged networking or having to consolidate the 2GB disks into a single file. Is there a way to make these the default.

I'm not aware of an option to modify or add custom templates. That's why I always "default" to "Custom (advanced)" when I create a new VM. This may require some additional clicks through the wizard, however in the end I get what I want.

Thanks André. I do use custom but in my haste to get the VM created I sometimes Click Click rather than Click and bypass the screen. I try to create clones of a stock install of things but there are always new things to try. I would just like a way to set some defaults.

We see this at the top of every page in the Communities so is it really necessary for the few Moderators that are placing this as a footer to their replies really necessary? NO! So Please Stop It!

We also see that there is a sale from Nov 29-Dec 1. Maybe VMWare folks don't read this stuff?
