Health status RED Alert IBM x3950M2

Hi,

I have noticed following two RED alert in our ESX host( IBM x3950 m2 /ESX3.5)

1>>OEM system Integrator defined 1 SEL fullness.(In a VMTN blog i found its due to eventlog...it can be ignored.I am not sure)

2>> System Chassis 2MCK card or Link 0: undertermined system hardware failure - Assert.( I didn't get any idea in blog)

The server and vms are running fine.

Do u have any idea.Pls share.

if this is the thread in question, http://communities.vmware.com/thread/191810, there is also a solution to clear the error in the BIOS

Not too sure about this, but the word hardware failure probably isn't the best thing. Have you checked IMM to see if there are any errors? Also, the UEFI and IMM are current on firmware?

Did you ever resolve the issues? I have the same issues on a 3850.

I have resolved the full eventlog issue by clearing the eventlog but am unable to resolve the hardware failure issue.
