Antivirus for VM

hi

which Antivirus is best for virtual machines.

i am using win 2003 vm's.

Personally, I don't like the current offerings from either Mcafee or Symantec. I did like Symantec's SAV10CE... I do like the Kaspersky set of products. I've seen both the Mcafee and Symantec bugger both virtual AND physical servers/systems... Have had great results with the Kaspersky products by comparison...

But, ask a dozen security admins, or server admin's as to which is the best, and you'll probably get as many answers as there are products available in the segment...

what anti virus product do you use on physical windows 2003 machines?

from the OS side dont try and think of them differently because from that side they arnt, just go with what your already using and if your not using anything, do some research and get the ones that best value for money and has all the features you need

Maybe you can look into VMSafe API ready anti virus. It's a new way of anti virus protection.
