Restore vs Restore Rehearsal

Can anyone tell me if there would be any restore time differences in selecting one over the other. For example I did a Restore Rehearsal of one of my VMs to see how long it would take to restore (2 hours for 300gb of disks with only about 5gb of data). Wasn't sure if it would be faster when doing a "real" Restore.

You can test this yourself, by doing a real restore

rename the destination and mark it for not being powered on or connecting the NIC to prevent problems with a running vm.)
