Just installed this from an ISO file into Fusion 3.1.1 and it all went well and so far as I can tell works as well as the RHEL5 already installed. Nice job, VMware! Bonus: I copied the VM to a Linux system running VMPlayer and it works fine there, too.
The VMware Tools needed to be built from source and that can be a challenge for some distros but it completed without error. Only downside is RHEL6 does not recognize that 3D is enabled in the VM, so the level of 3D support is remains an issue. In this case I've built a virtual server and don't need video at all but it still remains on the deficit side of fully satisfying.

redhat 6 was JUST release. ESX 4.1 RHEL 6 support is STILL experimental, specs have NOT been finalized.
Still experimental with ESX(i) 4? After the latest ESX 4 updates for VMtools (11/15), RHEL 6 shows up as a valid Guest OS when deploying a new VM.
