Help with alarms!

Guys,

I'm currently configuring the default VM mem and CPU usage to send out emails when they go into the red. The problem is that a handfull of VM's are generatign a huge number of emails. Whats happening is that when the alarms clear (change back to a yellow state) as soon as it goes red again a new email is sent out. So I have multiple emails for the same VM's.

Is there a way of controling the above behaviour so I can try and eliminate these extra emails. I've allready pushed the thresholds as far as I can.

AFAIK that is not possible. But what about increasing the time period the state must be present before the alarm is fired?
