I will be working in View Client and all of a sudden it will instantly close without any errors or warnings. I can sign right back in its just very annoying any ideas?
The View Client is installed on Windows XP and I am signing into a Windows 7 linked clone pool. The display protocol I am using is PCoIP.
Check the session timeout value of your Connectionserver (under server options in the view admin webconsole). Default is 600 minutes if I remember correctly, resulting in a disconnect after a session has been active for 10 hours (idle or not, doesnt matter).
Thank you for your reply. I should have been more specific. When I am working in the Virtual Desktop not when its idle it will suddenly just close View Client. This happens even after I sign into View client after maybe 2-3 minutes so it cant be any idle timeouts.
Are you using direct connect? What type of load balancer are you using!

Just to clarify, the session timeout value has nothing to do with idling or inactivity. It WILL disconnect any session that reach the max value for connection time (default 600 minutes) even if you are still working on your desktop.
You could always try to change the value to lets say 99999999 and evaluate it for a day or two.
On the other hand, I guess it could be alot of different things, like network hickups or something else that is causing the disconnect.
Hope you get it sorted!
I believe its due to some profile issues I am having so I am going to close this out thanks for all your replies.
