Hoping someone can help. We have Emulex 10GbE Virtual Fabric Adapters for out new x3650 M3's and the ESX ISO/DVD does not have the drivers, although they are available at http://downloads.vmware.com/d/details/esx_esxi4x_serverengines_dt/ZHcqYmRAZXdiZHdlZQ==
My problem is getting these drivers properly slipstreamed into my ESX ISO. Manually installing through the GUI or adding drivers after the install is easy enough, however all our builds are done using kickstarts.
I found this article, http://patrickvanbeek.wordpress.com/2010/01/30/slipstreaming-drivers-in-the-esx4i-install-iso/ , but it calls for replacing files, I don't want to replace, I want to add. The following driver needs to be slipstreamed, any help would be greatly appreciated.
