Install Operating System in a RAW disk from a SAN

Hi people,

I wanna know the support and advantages of installing an operating system onto a RDM disk (RAW from a SAN). It is supported for all cases?,

Its supposed that we are going to gain more eficency??...any problem about snapshots, or other capabilities or features of ESXi 4.1 that we could lost?

It is possible. Just create a new VM without disk and then add a RDM disk.

But do not think as RDM as way to have much performance:
