Cannot access the health service!

VC 4.1, still I get the error (yes, I read KB 101389[3|http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1013893] but it is not related to v 4.1)

Tomcat runs OK on port 8443, as accessing https://vc4.domain.org:8443/health-ui/ displays this error

So what service it thinks it can not access?

Help apprecieted (as I think that this version should still be indeep Beta, and not released!)

This thread|http://communities.vmware.com/message/1575002] describes similar issue, but where do I get "process_license_snapshot_proc"

I upgraded from VC 2.5 U3 to 4.1 directly

I'm having the same issue with a new install of 4.1. Everything seems to be working except for this. any ideas?

Yes, solution exists,

As I said, it is to do with editing ADAM database, so the correct entries for vmware exist there (see the screenshot)

The GUID did not created, so after creating in manually in adsiedit.msc (to know what GUID is needed, check the logs in

C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs)

Once the GUID exists, uninstall & reinstall of VC Server did make the services work OK (as it added the other missing entries in ADAM)

Also reading this helps:
