Veird Licensing Error

Im getting a weird licensing error when I check Host Profile compliance below the error message Iget.

Unable to check compliance since host does not have host profile license

I've vSphere 4Enterprise License.

and my ESX version is VMware ESX, 4.0.0, 2444038

Any thoughts ?

There are different tiers of licensing in vSphere and the host profile feature is available under the Enterprise plus. unless you were using the evaluation license you must be licensed for Enterprise Plus on your other machines. The Configuration, Licensed Features tab shows what that particular host is licensed for so if the Host Profiles shows up under there it will validate that you are licensed for it.

I believe that host profiles are only available for Enterprise Plus licenses. If you look under the Configuration, licensed features of the server in question do you see Host Profiles as a licensed type?
