Hi Frank,
my problem is not rename a datastore but change the Display name LUNs that are presented to the server.
For example;
now i have this ( esxcfg-mpath -l;
Runtime Name: vmhba0:C0:T0:L0
Device: naa.6006016055351f00506decc0459cde11
Device Display Name: DGC Fibre Channel Disk (naa.6006016055351f00506decc0459cde11)
Adapter: vmhba0 Channel: 0 Target: 0 LUN: 0
Adapter Identifier: fc.50060b0000c19085:50060b0000c19084
Target Identifier: fc.50060160b9a03aed:5006016039a03aed
Plugin: NMP
State: standby
Transport: fc
Adapter Transport Details: WWNN: 50:06:0b:00:00:c1:90:85 WWPN: 50:06:0b:00:00:c1:90:84
Target Transport Details: WWNN: 50:06:01:60:b9:a0:3a:ed WWPN: 50:06:01:60:39:a0:3a:ed
With vCenter i rename the "Device Display Name" so;
Runtime Name: vmhba0:C0:T0:L0
Device: naa.6006016055351f00506decc0459cde11
Device Display Name: LUN_PIPPO
Adapter: vmhba0 Channel: 0 Target: 0 LUN: 0
Adapter Identifier: fc.50060b0000c19085:50060b0000c19084
Target Identifier: fc.50060160b9a03aed:5006016039a03aed
Plugin: NMP
State: standby
Transport: fc
Adapter Transport Details: WWNN: 50:06:0b:00:00:c1:90:85 WWPN: 50:06:0b:00:00:c1:90:84
Target Transport Details: WWNN: 50:06:01:60:b9:a0:3a:ed WWPN: 50:06:01:60:39:a0:3a:ed
But i want rename with command-line.
