VMWare View 4.5 Win 7 VDI's and Group Policy Shortcut Issue

We recently changed some application shortcuts from being deployed using App-V to using Group Policy.

It is a simple group policy set up which effectively applies a shortcut to some network resources which are a large amount of in-house Oracle applications via User Assigment in Group Policy.

On the ( working) physical Win 7 PC the shortcuts are simply setup as follows:

e.g

Target =
brooks\oraclient\OraForms\BIN\ifrun60.EXE module=cisroot.fmx

Start in =
bgs.com\dfsroot\oracle\release3

However on the VDI's, even though the policies seem to apply ( looking at GPResult etc ), I get...

Target =
brooks\oraclient\.\.\.module=cisroot.fmx

Start in =
bgs.com\dfsroot\oracle\release3

So as you can see, the target has strangely been changed to \.\.\.

Any ideas, much appreciated?

Cheers

Sean
