If Learning Tree is a VMware Authorized Training Center and delivered the VMware curiculum you will only need to attend the 2 day What's New Class - I am sure Scott will chime in on where to take auhtorized training in the UK - he works for Global Knowledge in the UK and is an instructor and is a prolific poster to the Forum - here is a link to his profile http://communities.vmware.com/people/scott28tt where you can get his email address -

Your Learning Tree course will not count towards the VCP at all as their courses are not official VMware curriculum. You will need to attend one of three vSphere courses as I highlight here on my blog - I have another blog post here that discusses which course is the closest match to the exam content. Global Knowledge UK are a VATC and our courses are official so they definitely do qualify you for the VCP4. You are free to take the exam at any Pearson Vue testing centre, four of our training centres offer Pearson Vue testing. The exam is normally taken a few weeks after the training course, and I've also developed a unique VCP Exam Prep Workshop to help focus your study and maximise your chances of passing the VCP4 exam. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org, email me your full contact details and I will happily take this further for you.
