Ok we have a large VM (1.2 TB) that we are resizing (there is aprox 600GB free). The V2V (using standalone converter 4.01) is failing at 13%. It is indicated that the SQL database or disk is full. The job was running for about 3 hours prior. Here is what the log file shows:
Caught an exception while waiting on the agent task to complete. Gathering agent logs before propogating the exception further. Exception message: SQL_FULL: database or disk is full
The task with id = "task-8" was found to be a "recent" task.
No existing log bundle found for task with id = "task-8". The task is still "recent" so a log bundle will now be generated for it.

you don't tell us enough about the case - please at least mention what OS and which target you are talking about

OK - source is a Windows 2003 Server 32bit hosted on vSphere (vm hardware 7)
Target is also vsphere (we are just resizing the large data vmdk, or attempting too anyway)
Original size is 1.2TB, now the server has 600 GB free, so we want to resize to 700GB (aprox) and move to another LUN.

did you defrag the disk before trying Converter ?
Anyway - I would create the new disk - boot into a LiveCD with ghost 32 and clone disk to disk - that leaves Converter out of the game and so should be more reliable

Hmm.....thats not a bad idea..if I only had a LiveCD with ghost32.....let me see what I can come up with....
The defrag - not so much, this volume is used by EMC's AppXtender and has over 100 million small files....that might take a while.
