FT requirements on VM

What are the limitations, requirements, or restrictions on VMs in order to be configured as FT?

VMs can have a max of ONE vCPU was pointed out.

How about VMware tools - is that required?

How about memory, network, storage - if enabled for FT what other features of VMware will be unavailable, like linked clone, snapshot, etc.?

Thanks! That was helpful.

One thing that wasn't clear from the blog is whether VMware tools is required on the VM (assume no 10GE). Maybe I missed it.

VMware tools are required and 10GE is preferred, but 1G will work.
