Validation/Check VMs' virtual hard disk size allocation for Storage Administrators

Hi,

In our environment, we have implemented a 'Storage Administrator' role which has restrictive access privilleges. The 'Storage Administrator' role has all access privilleges under Virtual Machine are denied.

Currently, the storage administrators would use Inventory | Datastores menu and go into each datastore to extract the individual virtual hard disks used by virtual machines. The size is displayed in bytes and manual conversion is required. Furthermore, with the VMware infrastructure growing larger, it is not a productive way to check/validate individual virtual hard disks used by each virtual machines.

Is there any approach or interface where checking and validating can be done in an easier/productive way? Eg. a central GUI that lists all virtual machines and all of its virtual hard disks with size information?
