Anyone know where to download IBM ESXi CIM?
The actual CIM, I don't know. But you can download ESXi with the IBM CIM already loaded from the ESXi download page.
OPTIONAL BINARY

do you know if it is possible to extract the oem.tgz file and push it to the ESXi with vihostupdate or something else ?
I do not know if that is possible.
Since updating the vendor customizations will require you to reboot your system, it may be easier to reinstall and reconfigure ESXi.
Maybe someone else can chime in and tell you if it is possible to extract.
I'll give a try and tell you what
you hafe to look here https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/p/activate.php?p=free-esxi&lp=1
I don't think there is customized IBM ESXi version is available. IBM claims the new IBM director versions support ESXi in agentless architecture, ie, it supports ESXi native CIM implemenation.I haven't verified this, but from http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/director/v6r1x/index.jsp?topic=/director.plan_6.1/fqm0_r_su... it looks like my information is correct.
One other question since the IBM branded version on the ESXi Download Page is kinda old: ESXi 4.0 U1 - 2009/11/30
It's correct that IBM doesn't need the IBM director agent to monitor the hardware but the agents are mandatory to update firmware's.
So in order to get an up-to-date host I guess I will need to deploy the ESXi 4.0 U1 - 2009/11/30 and finish the installation with Update Manager to get a ESXi 4.1 Host?
Some IBM people who can confirm this?
Thanks,
Kenneth
Just noticed that IBM has got the 4.1 U1 with IBM Director agents on their own site:
